G1, Beastwars, Energon, Cybertron, Armada
2 - What was your favourite series?
G1 was my favorite. At my age when it came out I didn’t realize the dialog was so corny. Fan Fiction has improved all of them.
3 - Have you read any of the comic series? If so, which was your favourite?
I’ve read the originals, the UK originals as well. The DreamWave ones, The GI Joe/Transformers Crossovers including the Devils Due WWII Gi Joe?TF Crossover , All the IDW ones And Transformers Timelines. My favorite? The War Within Series because No Humans! Also the Devils Due GI Joe/TF WWII crossover, while pretty dark in the art is pretty good in storyline.
4 - Which faction do you prefer?
Autocons and Deceptibots.
5 - Which character (or characters) do you like most?
Prowl, Jazz, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Ratchet, Wheeljack. Shall I keep going? ‘Cause I can.
6 - Why do you like them so much?
I’ve liked these characters since the 1984 cartoon. Prowl was a police car (to cool) and Jazz was just cool. Thundercracker and Skywarp were non-stupid jets and Skywarp could Teleport (awesome). Sideswipe and Sunstreaker were Lamborghinis (very cool cars that we could just dream about, but probably would never see in real life). You had to have Ratchet cause he put everyone back together after the jets blew them up and Wheeljack was another awesome car.
7 - What is your favourite pairing? Write 'none' if you are not a pervert:

8 - Why do you like this pairing so much, you deviant?
I like a well written pair that explores each character as they pertain to the story.
9 - What sort of sex do you like your robots to have?
I prefer plug-n-play or sparksex but I will read sticky. Writing wise, I only write p-n-p
10 - Dress someone up. Who is it and what are they wearing?
Why?
11 - If you were a giant transforming robot, would you be a pirate or a ninja?
Again, why? I’m already a giant transforming robot. I’m thinking that’s pretty cool in itself
12 - What are your thoughts on Transformers reproduction?
In fan fiction depending on the writer’s talent I can believe and except quite a bit. That said, I prefer my robots to not resemble organic mammals to closely.
13 - If Huffer and Gears threw down in a fight, who would win?
I would have to say gears, since in the marvel series when he teamed up with Spiderman he did manage to take down Soundwave and Ravage. Not bad for a minibot.
14 - RUMBLE IS RED OR IS THAT FRENZY IS BLUE OR RED WHAT?
Rumble was blue in the original cartoon and frenzy red. As a kid I never did understand why the toy package was incorrect. Now, it just blows my mind that people can get so worked up over this topic.
15 - Do you have a folder full of Transformers porn on your computer?
Yes.
16 - How many pictures does it have in it?
Pictures? It’s suppose to have pictures? Well frag, I was just thinking of stories with that previous question. I guess I actually have multiple folders with Transformers porn.
17 - Your thoughts on Transformers gender. Give them to me:
I imagine that they in reality might have multiple “genders” though not so much in the sexual sense that we planet earth organics have genders. I imagine for a robot species it would have something to do more with function and thus frame build and capabilities.
18 - Kiss Players is the best thing to happen to Transformers. Do you agree with this statement? Not in my transformers world.
19 - Do you roleplay? If so, where, what, why, how?
The last time I Rp’d was college. So 16 years ago.
20 - Are Transformers SERIOUS BUSINESS?
IN TF Fan Fun and entertaining for me. Remember, I can’t believe people have arguments over which cassette is blue and which is red. Honestly, the same goes for the fan fic portion. I can’t believe how seriously upset some people get when a character is portrayed OOC in an AU story. I mean really! If your favorite character is being portrayed way OOC, in a G1 storyline then it’s probably an AU. Suck it up and deal, or ignore the story, but don’t bash the author! I am so tired of seeing author bashing in the comments. And it scares good authors away from continuing a promising storyline when someone takes offense to their favorite character/s being OOC (or what they perceive as OOC) for an AU! People get way to serious about this.

The Story That Never Was Meme
Give me the title of a story I've never written. You may also give me some feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you at least three, and possibly more of the following about it: the first sentence or the first paragraph, the last sentence or the last paragraph, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I'd been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.
In return for telling you about my Story that Never Was I would like you to post this in your own journal.
I don’t remember who tagged me for this one but whoever it was gave me the title Rise from the Ashes. If you are the person I was tagged by, let me know and I will gladly post your name here.
So… Rise from the Ashes, the story that never was by CmdrTekk
The first line:
Seekers in the air had always meant protection and nothing more to those who lived high in the Towers, far above the common mechs on the streets below.
The last paragraph:
Thoughts swirled within Mirage’s CPU as the Special Operations Officer by default stood watching over the camp. He had indeed come a long way in a very short amount of time. Still, the former towers mech hoped the new Prime would quickly find a mech to hold permanently this position he now held temporarily. For unlike some of the mechs temporarily holding Command positions for the new Prime, Mirage recognized that for as much as he excelled at the standard skills required for the job and had certainly proven himself capable, he lacked… something. Something he sensed was vital to truly succeed in the position. Perhaps it would come with time, but it was time he did not think they had. Somewhere though, some mech had the missing piece. But at present the Autobots were a disorganized rabble. A conglomerate of mechs from different backgrounds banded together under the face of Primus, all the while placing their hope, faith and lives into the hands of this new Prime; who just like the majority of the mechs here had little or no battle experience what-so-ever but had proven he could kill. Mirage shifted his stance as his thoughts continued to swirl. They had already proven they could fight and survive against military builds. They had hope and faith. They had a chance.
What made me want to write it:
I was interested at taking a look at the first desperate/disorganized orns, deca-cycles, stellar-cycles, and meta-cycles of the war from a G1 cartoon Autobot perspective. The Autobots in the beginning were probably not very organized. In fact they were probably quite desperate. Leaders, aside from Optimus would have emerged and probably held positions of leadership by default based on a skill or skills they brought to the table or by a situation they found themselves in or a combination of the two. What might these situations have been, how were these skills revealed, discovered or adapted to the situation. How and why did these various leaders come to be where they are as these very first desperate cycles come to an end? I chose Mirage as my main focus character because he brought readily known skills that he individually was very familiar with and skilled with already to the table.
The biggest problem I had while writing it:
In choosing Mirage as my main focus character I had to work around his snobbish attitude towards mechs not of the towers and at the same time I needed a situation that would allow him to shine in a way that would be noticeable to other future Autobots. Oh and despite his personal snobbish feelings towards these other mechs, he had to work with them. And work with them well.

Look, I’m a supporting character with little page time in the past history of a canon character in an AU story. So if I'm sueing it, sue me. Ha! Though I reckon my talent for being difficult is greater than my very impressive slicer skills. Sometimes those skills are handy, but mostly frustrating for my commanding officer and definitely frustrating for everyone in the CCC. But those CCC slaggers deserve it.

Can we say not a fighter? That’s what Cep and Gaze are for. They got the full set of battle upgrades after all .
