Black and Whites in Life Week 39 – Fall Color Still In Its Peak In The Colorado High Country
I took three trips over Monarch Pass this past week. One on Wednesday (we went home via Cottonwood Pass) and two on Saturday. Jazz and Prowl were not allowed on the Wednesday trip, but on Saturday they came along and insisted on doing what many, many other people were doing Saturday - stopping all along the east side of Monarch Pass to take pictures of, and just plain enjoy the fall scenery and weather. Saturday was indeed a gorgeous day to drive over the pass. And while there were plenty of shots with fall gold, this wider shot hinting at all the fall colors to be encountered further up the Pass won the week.
Though... we did have cold with rain for two days last week.
Thank you for looking.
